The University College of Applied Sciences, represented by Ahmed Salah Ghorab, participated in the IX Erasmus International Staff Week, organized by the Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM) in Spain as part of the Erasmus KA1 academic exchange program implemented from March 31 to April 3. Ghorab explained that this international event was widely attended by representatives of higher education institutions from different countries of the world as one of the unique activities that aim to enhance academic cooperation, exchange experiences and knowledge, and expand the horizons of internationalization in higher education institutions.

Ghorab stressed that the participation of the University College of Applied Sciences comes in the context of its continuous efforts to enhance its presence in the international arena and develop strategic partnerships with leading international academic institutions, which reflects positively on the development of its academic and research programs and student services.

As part of his participation, Ghorab gave an introductory presentation about UCAM as the pioneer of technical and vocational education in Palestine and the largest Palestinian university in the field of applied university education. He talked about the most prominent experiences of the university college in the field of international cooperation and implementation of international projects, and reviewed the most prominent challenges posed by the current situation in the Gaza Strip.
